a Family, not an Audience
Church is faces, not places - people, not pews. As family members, we look forward to sharing in all the complexities that make up the family of God at Cross Church - whether celebrating the triumphs, mourning tragedies, or reveling in the richness of Christ's love together. We are in this together for the Glory of God alone.
Our services are centered around three important things: Worship, Word, Fellowship and Prayer. Sunday services begin with contemporary worship, followed by a message by Lead Pastor Raymond Gregory, or one of our teaching pastors. Once a month we partake in communion together, and will often witness a baptism in the service. We end with an opportunity to recieve prayer and responsive worship. Services last under 90 minutes. After service there is an opportunity for fellowship and coffee!
Cross Kidz
Safety
Your child’s safety is our number 1 priority. Every kid is checked in and given a sticker. Once they are in their room, they only leave it with an adult if needed. We also ensure that once service starts, the doors to the children’s area are locked, and a hall monitor is in place. All volunteers must also complete paperwork and a background check to serve in Cross Kidz.
Class Breakdown
Our children’s ministry is broken up into a few groups. We have babies and crawlers, Downtown 1 - Stable Walking, Downtown 2 - Preschool, and Uptown 1 - K-5. We do this to ensure your child gets the necessary care and teaching at their level!
Impact
Cross Church believes that parents are the primary spiritual leaders of children. However, we also think that our Cross Kidz Ministry can have a terrific impact on the lives of our most precious gifts…your kids! We want to partner with our parents with the goal of each child knowing Jesus and authentically experiencing him!
